Yes, I am closing commissions permanently for the forseeable future. I'm struggling to sell slots, and I just can't handle the stress and sadness of it anymore. It's been nearly causing me to go into a mental health spiral. I can't afford NOT to do it as a second source of income, but at the same time, nothing is coming from it anymore, so I've decided to just save myself the hurt/stress of it all, and officially close.

I will still be doing Patreon rewards, and early access/exclusive content on my Patreon which you can find more info about there: https://www.patreon.com/blitzy_arts

But those will only be small headshot rewards. It will be the only way to get any art from me for any forseeable future. Otherwise, I may only accept commissions from a few regular/trusted clients and friends I've had over the years.

I will also hopefully be going back to my roots, and revisiting more human/humanoid art. I've been hyperfixated on BG3/Astarion lately, and will hopefully focus on doing fanart for that. I appreciate furries, and what they've done for me, and I will still always draw furries (specifically my own sona/bf's sona), but it's time I FINALLY get time to draw more things -I- want to draw, not JUST furries. I have so many other interests away from that, things I frankly care about more, and I want to express that, you know???

I hate that it's come to this, and I'm heartbroken, and things will be difficult going forward, but I appreciate the support I got in the time I've been doing this. Thank you to those who've commissioned me, and allowed me to run my little business.

And if I can just leave this with a few words: Please guys. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be there for artists/your artist friends right now. With the economy being fucked, and AI trash replacing us, things are not looking good. Please support where you can, sometimes that just means sharing/retweeting your fave artists' work, commenting etc. This includes musicians, writers, actors etc. Support creative people, and their endeavors. It matters a whole lot.

Getting a slot from me is not as simple as hitting up my notes/DMs and going "hey give me -x- right now.".

No, I'm sorry, but I have a system, and protocol to how I do business. and I do things the way I do for a good reason. Those who are actually serious about getting a slot, and working with me will know how to do this properly if they read the journal above, and take a look at my commission site for prices, and my Terms of Service. (Its worth mentioning, I also do not conduct business through DMs, or any other mode of communication, except for email.)

I am more than happy to answer other questions regarding pricing if you have a hard time understanding the listed prices on my site, or if there's something in my Terms of Service you do not understand. and can give quotes for more complicated pieces (you can email such questions to blitzyarts@yahoo.com), but otherwise, you need to apply for a commission slot by filling out the order form that is mentioned in the journal.

All of this info on how to get a slot, is also mentioned in my profile too. It's quite easy actually!

I've officially met/surpassed 4K watchers here.

It's taken so very long (10+) years to reach another milestone like that, and I still have a loooong way to go.

But I just wanted to thank you all. New and old watchers alike, who've been supporting me and my work. I won't lie, the art world, and being successful in it has been... very difficult lately to say the least, and it's been affecting me mentally. But those who still watch/follow me across any platforms I post on still keep me going, and give me hope.

So I just wanted to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. <3

After many years, I now finally have a Patreon. I have moved away from Ko-fi as my monthly support page, and will now continue to offer rewards on Patreon instead. My ko-fi page will still always remain up to use as a tip jar. My Patreon will have the usual that was always included on my ko-fi tiers: early access to art, early access to commission openings before general public, exclusive goodies like timelapse videos, but NOW I can have the option to post nsfw couple art there, with maybe some exclusive versions of whatever I decide to make (on my own terms of course. I will not be doing nsfw for other people.) And of course, for Silver and Gold tiers, folks can get some custom art rewards on top of all that! If you consider subscribing to a tier, just know how much I appreciate you, especially since times are EXTREMELY tough on us artists right now. Thank you.
